Nutrini Energy (pouch 500ml and glass bottle 200ml) is a nutritionally complete, high energy (1.5 kcal/ml), ready-to-use tube feed for the dietary management of undernutrition in young children 9-20kg in body weight (1-6 years) it is suitable as a sole source of nutrition.
Nutrini Energy is a food for special medical purposes (FSMP) and should be used under medical supervision
Indications
Nutrini is intended for tube feeding for those children with a functional or partially functional gastrointestinal tract who are unable or unwilling to eat sufficient quantities of conventional foods to meet their nutritional requirements.
Benefits
Nutrini Energy is energy dense (150kcal/100ml) to promote weight recovery, is a whey-enriched formulation to help improve tolerance and protein balance, contains a docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) dominant LCP blend to help maintain mental function and reduce the risk of deficiency, and is especially designed for the needs of younger children.
It is fibre, gluten and lactose free .
(It contains <0.025g/100ml lactose which is considered sufficiently low not to induce any clinical symptoms in those with lactose intolerance and thus could be considered as lactose free.(Vesa TH, Korpula RA, Sahi T.
